Fusion Digital is honored to celebrate our founder, Philip Ferranti Jr., who has been recognized with the 2022 Rochester Business Journal Icon Honors Award. This prestigious distinction highlights business leaders over the age of 60 who have achieved notable success, demonstrated unwavering leadership, and made significant contributions to their communities.
Philip Ferranti Jr.’s journey is a testament to dedication, innovation, and a commitment to building meaningful relationships. Born and raised in Rochester, Phil’s entrepreneurial path began in 1980, leading to the creation of three companies that have earned places on the Rochester Top 100 Companies list. Among them is Fusion Digital, which he founded in 2003 to combine cutting-edge IT and AV solutions with a focus on empowering businesses and strengthening our community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Phil’s impact is deeply felt in Rochester. From supporting organizations like the Open Door Mission and Veterans Outreach to mentoring young athletes as a coach, his contributions embody the spirit of the Icon Honors Award. His guiding principles—honesty, integrity, and loyalty—are the foundation of Fusion Digital’s culture and success.
This recognition also celebrates Phil’s enduring leadership and his belief that: “Business is a team game. Take care of your employees and customers with sincerity, and always lead with empathy.”
Earlier this year, Phil transitioned the leadership of Fusion Digital to his daughter, Alyse Ferranti, ensuring that his legacy continues to inspire future generations.
We are incredibly proud to see Phil’s accomplishments recognized in this meaningful way. His story serves as a reminder of the impact one individual can have on both business and community.
